Abstract
Practicing Catholics are significantly less likely to vote for the Front national (FN), the largest far right party in France, despite the FN's best efforts and existing Catholic leanings toward the right. Why is this? Two possible hypotheses are explored: a fundamental difference in values, and a fortuitous coinciding of demographic data.
